The General Assembly on 4th December 2019 was held at the Meir Shfeyah Youth Village, which is supported by HWZOA. Nira Greenstein, Hadassah-Israel President, thanked members who had come from all over the country. Special thanks to Lauren Stern Kedem for organizing the day: for the tour and the wonderful hospitality. The orchestra, the mandolin orchestra, the singers and the choir presented an enjoyable concert conducted by Boris Feldman. After the artistic program, a short film was shown about the Village and the Rehabilitation Center in Hadassah Mt. Scopus. Then our members were divided into small groups to tour the village. Each group was accompanied by 2 students of the village, who gave interesting explanations of the boarding school and schooling, and the various buildings and branches of the village including computerized cowsheds and chicken coops, winemaking and production of herbal soaps.
After the tour, the GA of Hadassah-Israel was held in the auditorium. Nira presented her Annual Report, surveying the events and accomplishments of her three years of tenure.
