Mor Chapter - Modiin Maccabim Reut

Overview
Mor chapter was established in 2001 and today includes about 80 members from Modi'in Maccabim Reut. We hold social gatherings every month at a member's home and host lectures on interesting subjects.
Fundraising
We organize brunches and evening meals together with a speaker and music, to raise funds for our community projects and for projects for Hadassah Hospital in Ein Kerem and Mount Scopus. On International Women's Day we organize an enjoyable evening open to the public, with a varied program.
Volunteering
The chapter members operate several community projects:
- "Katef Lamishpacha" to look after young children while their parents attend a workshop for divorcing parents
- Thinking games to encourage children to solve problems and to cope with various situations in life
- Headstart to help students with learning difficulties
The activities take place in several schools in the city.

Members of Modiin Chapters Mor and Levonah had a fun and educational visit to the ecological farm "Hava Va Adam" which deals with environmental and social education, and belongs to the city of Modi'in. |
