On Friday 19^th July, we held our fundraising brunch to raise money for the purchase of the THERA-TRAINER BALO device that helps the injured and amputees in their rehabilitation in the Gandel Rehabilitation Department at Hadassah Mount Scopus.

Rivkah Cooper, the President of Hadassah - Israel emphasized in her words the commitment of all of us to Hadassah - Israel to improve the quality of medical care for soldiers and civilians. This will bring about a change in their lives and give them hope for a better future.

A film was then shown in which Ilana, the deputy director of the Physiotherapy department, explained in detail the individual treatment methods and the available means to help the people who need support to return to an independent life.

Later we enjoyed a show by the mentalist – mind-reader, Amit Kasharian, which left us speechless! And finally, we held a raffle of items donated by Mor members and several local businesses.

Thank you to all the members of the chapter who prepared the refreshments which were varied and excellent! Thanks to members who donated even though they were unable to participate in the brunch. Thanks to the board members of the chapter who worked very hard to ensure the success of the event. Thanks to Liora Bernstein who welcomed the guests at the entrance together with Hanita Baruch. Thanks to Omer Elmaliach, who prepared the elegant table numbers.

Hoping for continued fruitful, challenging work and successful group effort. We pray for the return of the hostages and the recovery of the wounded and for good and peaceful days to come. Amen
