Mor Chapter, Modiin: Naomi Sivan Naomi Sivan is a pleasant woman, modest, goal-oriented, enterprising, and with tremendous organizational skills. She is responsible for organizing the chapter’s activities with external individuals and groups and coordinating with them. She does so efficiently and quietly. All her actions inspire a very friendly atmosphere. She is the first to volunteer for any activity. In addition, she is president of the Modi’in branch of the Israeli Butterfly Association, and maybe draws from them the strength to fly from mission to mission! She definitely deserves the honor of recognition as an outstanding Hadassah-Israel volunteer. for her long-term commitment and loyalty. |

Eshel Chapter, Beer Sheva: Tamar Iancu Tamar Iancu was born in England during WWII, and spent part of her childhood in the USA. She came to Israel after college, in 1966, and spent most of her time here teaching English. She was active in AACI, va’ad Habayit, and her local synagogue, and is in charge of the local Hadassah newsletter. She has two lovely daughters and 5 grandchildren. Her main occupations nowadays are playing Scrabble and Bridge. |

Oren Chapter Haifa: Dian Bymel The volunteer chosen for Oren is Dian Bymel. Dian has been a member of Hadassah Israel for 16 years and she has always been active in chapter activities. She was extremely helpful Assistant on the Board always willing to help with any task needed and she participated in many National activities and events such as Mediscope. Dian also has been excellent in helping with the auction and additional funds raising. Dian retired from the Oren board in 2023 and fully deserves this reward for her efforts for the chapter and the organization over the past 14 years. |

Eucalyptus Grove Chapter Hadera: Sarit Sabag This year we chose our friend Sarit Sabag as the outstanding volunteer of the year in the Eucalyptus Grove Chapter in Hadera. Sarit is very dedicated to all the activities in the chapter. She mainly leads the Kyoko game and is responsible for the parties and events in the chapter. Sarit is a very loyal member and is loved and highly appreciated by all the members of the chapter. |

Shoshana Chapter Netanya: Nili Ofek For many years, Nili has dedicated her time, energy, and heart to tireless social work through Hadassah-Israel, by participating in “kafe v siach” for women at risk, and in the cafeteria, always with a smile on her face and a big heart. Beyond her many acts of service to the community, Nili brings a special spirit that connects people. She is known for radiating warmth, kindness, and care, making her not only a valued volunteer but also a beloved friend to everyone around her. Her persistence in her efforts, even during challenging times, reflects her deep commitment to the community and her genuine desire to positively impact the lives of others. |

Vered HaSharon Chapter: Wendy Wolman Rimon Wendy joined Hadassah, following family tradition: her mother, Evelyn Wolman (ז"ל) was a founding member of Vered HaSharon. Over the years, she has continuously been active, serving on the board, and chairing Health and Fund-Raising. Her “Health Blurbs” featured in our monthly newsletter for several years. Some of her fund-raising projects include: several Vered HaSharon Walkathons, a yearly series of Shoah-related documentary movies accompanied by a lecture, a T.E.D.-style evening with four Shoah-related speakers, book swaps, and a brunch-concert. In June, she organized a Swimathon, which successfully raised money for the Gandel Rehabilitation Center at Mt. Scopus. |

Rakefet Chapter Jerusalem: Ettie Weinstock Ettie volunteers in the Hadassah-Israel educational project on food Literacy and Mediterranean Diet which is a joint project with the Hadassah Hospital. Through this project, Ettie continues the legacy of Henrietta Szold by promoting and educating public health. Ettie also prepared a series of lectures on the subject and has very skillfully delivered them in community centers in northern Jerusalem. In addition, Ettie volunteers to help soldiers who completed their term of service in finding jobs. |

Shaked Chapter Rehovot: Kochava Levron Kohava has been volunteering for many years in the Shaked Rehovot chapter. Kochava deserves all the praise for her volunteerism and her great contribution in all the activities of the chapter in general and as the chairman of Coffee and Talk in particular! Kochava led the Women At Risk project for 12 years, with dedication, loyalty and diligence, investing time and efforts in the project in order to assure the success of the hands on community project. Kochava is known for her friendly spirit and her modesty, always willing to help with any position assigned to her. |

Levonah Chapter Modiin: Eileen Goldstein Eileen and her husband Marv made Aliyah from Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2021, and all four of their children and their families now live in Israel. When Eileen made Aliyah to Modiin, she promptly joined Levonah Chapter, and has jumped in to help out in so many ways! She helps with setting up for events, taking reservations for events, and as a vital assistant to our Programming Chair. She has great organizational skills and is such a pleasure to work with; and she does it all with a smile on her face. Kol HaKavod, Eileen! |

Ner Halayla Chapter Bat Yam: Frida Tin For many years Frida has dedicated greatly to the chapter's hands-on community projects in Bat Yam. She has volunteered in various projects representing Hadassah-Israel with the Cancer Association, at the Soroka Hospital in the hematology department and more. Frida is the recording secretary of the chapter board. Frida is characterized by her extraordinary dedication, endless giving, and the ability to work independently. She is an initiative-driven woman, with a broad perspective and high motivation to advance the activities of the chapter. Frida is not just an outstanding volunteer, but also a charming and unique woman, admired by everyone who knows her, and her significant contribution to the chapter and to the entire community deserves great appreciation. |

Men's Chapter, Modiin: Elliott Echt The Modi’in Men’s Chapter is proud to select Elliott Echt as our “Volunteer of the Year” awardee. Elliott is a founding member of the Chapter and currently holds the positions of Executive Vice President and Membership Chair. He serves on our Board of Directors and is a member of the Fundraising and Program Committee. Elliott is constantly busy attending to Hadassah business and is someone who “never says no”. He is always contributing with creative ideas. Elliott is truly devoted to Hadassah-Israel, ensuring the success of the Men's Chapter in supporting the Hadassah Hospital. Elliott's late wife Mitzi Z"L was a Life Member of Hadassah and their daughter continues that tradition as a Life Member of the Levonah Chapter. |

Rimon Chapter Rehovot: Diana Marks Honoree - Diana Marks, Membership chairman. Diana is a recent olah who came here all by herself from Australia. She has a married son and grandchildren in Rehovot and another son in London. From the moment that Diana arrived in Rehovot she made it her mission to get to know the city and the people in it. She went to every English speaking activity she could find and enrolled in Ulpan. Early this year she took on the role of Membership Chairman and has signed on a good number of new members to the Rimon Chapter. Diana is always willing to help organize activities - in fact, she was one of the chairs of our highly successful pre-channukah craft event. The Rimon Chapter is happy to honor Diana as our volunteer of the year. |

Sachlab Chapter Rishon Le'Tzion: Miriam Talmor Miriam Talmor is one of the founding members of the Sachlab Chapter. For over 14 years, she has been the chairwoman of the thinking games project for young children as well as for elderly. She has for many years actively participated in coffee and conversation for women at risk and in various volunteer activities in the community and in the chapter.
