On June 19th a chapter member from Kochav Yair and four more swimmers reserved a lane in the local Matnas. A friend in Tel Aviv enthusiastically organized several other swimmers in her building and they swam on June 28th. The premise was the same as a Walkathon - get swimmers to do laps in a local pool and find sponsors to make contributions per lap or a flat sum. We asked for multiples of 18 or Chai! We have been thrilled with the response and hope to repeat the event for the next special gift project. Big thanks to our intrepid swimmers and generous donors!
